2nd Gen Cloning

I was cloning the other day trying to duplicate my TM Earthquake, when I forgot to save in front of my PC. Now I can't find my Feraligatr, did I lose it because I forgot to save, because it wasn't even the pokemon I cloned. Can someone explain this to me?

Ok, then you turned the power off while the PC was saving before saving previously, didn't you? Well, I'm guessing that you feraligart was in your team and previously had been in a box (the last time you saved), because it saves first the pokes you have in the boxes, and secod your team. So the game saved a state when Feraligart wasn't in a box anymore, but didn't save the state where Feraligart was in your team. So your feraligart isn't anywhere now.

I repeat that I'm guessing, if you give more information, I would confirm this or try to find another explanation.

this happend to my friend before and his Ledian he ended up losing it so Feraligatr is probably gone

Sorry genghoul, i'm afraid that your Feraligatr dos not exist in your game anymore.That happened to my lugia too, I was duplicating my leftovers but accedently didn't save before doing the proccess...
