im not quite sure want i want nature/Ev wise for cloyster, but i want mine to be somewhat of my guy who can take dmg with high defenses yet deal damage for a moveset i was thinking

Spikes,Iron Defense Ice beam and surf. now for spikes i would have it learn it threw a heart scale so i can get iron defense as a shellder. All input on this would be nice

heh, i've always thought of cloyster as the weirdest pokemon ever, which is why i've always avoided trying it out even w/ its fairly decent stats. it's still a shame it has such a low special defense, which is definitely something to be worried about when and if you put it up against physical sweepers who also have special attacks in their movepool.

    Cloyster @ Leftovers
    Ability: Shell Armor
    Nature: Naive/Jolly/Lax/Naughty
228 HP/188 Spd/94 (Atk or Def or Sp Atk)
    -Avalanche/Ice Beam
    -Spikes
    -Rapid Spin/Surf
    -Explosion

switch it in to take a big hit. set spikes and run if they switch. if stealth rock or spikes is up, rapid spin them out of there. if you don't want rapid spin, surf is always an option to take care of physical walls like skarmory who think they're clever w/ Spikes+Whirlwind.
