Cons

It seems like there is a convention for everything. From big, all encompassing ones like San Diego Comic-Con to little local cons for very specific interests like 80s cartoons. If you are a fan of something chances are there is a convention for that fandom.

So, have you ever been to a convention? Was it better/worse than your expectations? Have you ever wanted to go to one and not been able to? Do you feel that you're missing out by not going to cons or that if you were a "true" fan you'd find some way go? Just talk about cons.

When it comes to conventions, I have not been to any. Course there are some that happen in Washington State that I would be interested in going to. The ones I would be interested in going to are as follows:
    Sakura-Con
    Aki Con
    BrickCon
    PAX Prime
    Emerald City ComiCon

I've been to local cons in my country and I can say that I really enjoy them meeting up with cosplayers taking pics and stuff and to see amazing stuff to buy and events in cons are really awesome as well. Well you can get some exclusive things in cons so I can say they're worth it.

I highly recommend going to cons although if you don't like darting around standing all the time I don't think this will be for you.
