    I was thinking to my self recently while going through my contacts, "Gee, it would be nice to be able to group these." It would almost be like folders for documents on a computer. Is there a way to do this? If not, why isn't there?

    There's not a way to do this as far as I know because it's not really that necessary... I mean, the only think I can think of is to have all of your staff contacts in one place for when you need to ask something or whatever, but the staff listing page already does that. What sort of uses for this feature did you have in mind?
     
    I would use the hell out of this feature if only to group the people who never come on PC anymore as "still my friend but WHERE DID YOU GO" so they aren't cluttering up the list of people I actually want to go visit for good reasons. :P Or group friends I made in one club/fandom together with the others. There's plenty of ways it'd be useful.

    There doesn't seem to be an add-on/plugin already in existence that does this, though, so if we were to get this it'd be up to Audy who's already working on a lot of other things.
     
    I was intending to use it for the same stuff lightning said, as well as being able to group people for my hack and various other reasons like that. I also believe it would be very useful for people with more friends than me, and I'm sure that they could come up with even more reasons.
     
    Oo, now this would be useful! I've wanted something like this for ages so I can group people from certain clubs and keep track of who's from where and who's interested in what o3o But yeah if there's no plugin then poopy D:
     
    So what's going on with this idea? Is there no plugin or whatever it is?
