    What do you guys think of this game?

    I personally love rhythm games anyway, and this was such a clever and well-executed blend with the roguelike genre.

    I just recently finished Zone 1 with Aria and my god it's still as addictive as when I first bought it! It's also very very fun to play with custom music; I've been messing about with the Metal Gear Rising soundtrack on it and it makes for surprisingly entertaining gameplay.
     
    Rhythm/Music Games and Roguelike are two of my favorite genres, so I thought I would love this. Bought it full price early on in its Early Access and...well, I didn't.

    This isn't to say I regret having bought it- this game is one of the greatest example of how a developer should go about Early Access. It never led players on with promises, always delivered, and it listened to feedback. I don't regret it even a single bit, and I'm glad that it's finally been fully released.

    Now, I'm really enjoying it. I can't say if it's because of what's been added or a change in approach on my end, but I feel that the game really is a lot more of a blend of the two genres that becomes more fun the more times you play. So yeah, this is a nice title that I very much enjoy, and since it's in sales now there's little reason not to pick it up at around half-off.

    Ah, yeah, I should've clarified I did get this when it was its "full" release, although there have been about nine updates since then anyway (mostly bugfixes, but still). I'm glad to see it was a successful use of the Early Access model though, god only knows that has a million ways it can go wrong.
     
    I just wish I could get past the third zone. :( Still trying to complete all zones with even one character, and I got to the boss of that zone once and it was an easy boss and I died argh. Haven't managed to make my way back since.

    Though it's not from lack of trying! While I haven't been playing this game as much recently as I did when I first got it, I do pick it back up every so often. :') I keep forgetting to try out custom songs though, whoops.

    But yeah, fun game.
