CSS in signatures

I really wish there was some sort of tutorial on the forum somewhere because I would like to use CSS in my sig but I suck at it ^^;;

Go learn there. It's basically the same as the BB Code. Go learn the selectors, properties and values and you should be set.

Well, if you want to start off with CSS, you can start off with this:

Text, images, etc.

To learn what to put in the middle, I suggest using the link mentioned above; you don't want your signature to look like everyone else's. This is pretty much just the start.

How do you get your text and links over your banner? The banner is the background?

To make the banner your background, use background-image: url( insert your url here );

Aligning text can be done with BBcode.
For example [image=left] *insert image url* [/image]
