    I just bought DDR extreme yesterday, and let me tell you people, it is NOT that good of a game. Almost all the songs are rip-off songs of songs people already hate. Out of all the 65 songs I only found like, 3 new ones that I kinda liked...

    If your a ddr maniac, go ahead and buy it, but if you're just kinda into it, don't waste your money. Every EXTREME has, DDRmax has and then some.

    So.. it's not worth it at all? =\

    Not that it really matters, I'm pretty sure I'd have to import it anyway. <_<

    DDR fanatics will like it of course...but the guy who plays DDR for a long list of cool songs won't enjoy it...

    I just play it because I like acing all the songs. x3 But if most of them suck... <_<;;

    What about features... any new and cool ones improved upon since the others in the series? :o

    yeah

    jap ddr extreme > usa one. < 5th mix! XD

    since I'm too lazy to go check ddrfreak, does usa ddr extreme have un deux trois / max period? :3

    Nope...it's 10 stepper is Legend of MaxX, which is still cool.

    wow, i realized just then you're on about a PSx game... right? ^___^;;

    i cant afford or say i want a console. However i play at the arcade. *insert g33kyness hair*

    hmm... also, stepmania is good. I want my own pad.

    how good ish everyone of foot and/or keyboard? ^^

    i can do some seven-foot songs on foot... mostly 6, while on stepmania i cant quite do all the 10foot songs ;-----; LoM is tooooo hard~! ;-;

    I AAA'd BeManiRuler's "V", "G2".. "Invoke" from DDRei's Tournamix Three, I also got 1 great on BemaniRuler's "A".. and then I deleted Stepmania cause it was a waste of disc space and the newer versions are horrible D:

    On foot, I've passed everything, my most recent accomplish ment is clearing Demon Road I on DDRMAX2~ :>

    blahh US versions of DDR will always suck. this is a fact. =_= my heart remains with arcade 5th mix.

    I think eyetoy is a terrible thing to mix with DDR btw T_T;;

    Nah...I only play DDR Extreme at the arcades, with the 100+ songs. At home, I've got DDR MAX 2 and a metal Octane Pad.

    As for my level of DDR proficiency, I'm a freak. I blow so much money on the arcades it's not funny. I can get an A on just about any song, AA for 8 foot songs and below. For PA, my best run a few days ago was Max300, Legend of Maxx and Sakura with A's on the Maxs and AA on Sakura, set on Single, Heavy and x1.5 speed. For freestyling, I 've gotten an A Twilight Zone (and one hell of a crowd), set on Double, Standard and x1.5 speed

    If you thnk you've wasted money, I think I've wasted even more, I imported 4th mix, 5th mix, max, max2, and extreme. I can pass everything with a B or better except for PSM and PSMO.

    I saw the American Extreme version...how on earth do you play with hands AND feet?! I would get tangled up. DDR is reserved for the feet only!! Parapara is for hands.

    Yeah! I'm not the only DDR freak who's 18 or over! Anyways, the Paranoia Max series isn't that hard, when I tried mastering the the hard 9 and 10 foot songs I would always set the difficulty on Light, then move up to Standard, then move to Heavy and Oni if there is one. That way, I get the feel of the rhythm of the song, which I think is extremely important.

    I like Para Para Paradise, it's a shame that there aren't many PPP machines here in Sydney. If you want to master it, you have to know the exact dance routine. My best is Stop Your Self-Control, Reverse. Anyways, one question for you Yanks: how on earth does DDR Extreme American version use hands? How does that work out?! I am just as confused as Zapchu...

    hrm~ stop your self-control? that isn't a song on any parapara machine... o.O

    I know some 150 routines though XD I don't play much anymore but a few years ago I was really into it... I still love it, I just don't have as much time for it anymore I guess?

    There's an image gallery there. Apparently the steps are in the middle and then you use both hands (via eyetoy) to get the two additional patterns to the side.

    And while we're talking about it, I can only do (most) songs on standard. T_T That's not too bad for someone who's only been playing for about a month and a half, though, right? =x

    I couldn't really do any maniac well (as in getting good grades) until 3 months later. I was playing doubles by 3 months, now you get the idea how much I played everyday...I'm a freak. -_-; I want to go play DDR at the arcade today!!!

    me to Me To ME TO!

    I was able to do a heavy song after about a month er so...But I was able to do all the heavies after about 3 - 4 months of playing...Healing Vision got me so many times :P

    BOO ya!
