Dedicated Server Woes

    Over the last two weeks, I have been working on making my domain name and new dedicated server work. Basically though, I have yelled and complained so much to my registrar. I have been talking to my web host, and my registrar and I want to get my servers fixed. Basically though, it is getting very tiring.

    God, why don't these things have easier instructions? If I pay $85 a month for a server, I hope that we can get the server up immediately. It is getting really annoying to keep telling my hostees that we will be up soon. (sigh)

    My current situation seems hopeless that I wonder why I just don't write it off as a loss. Honestly though, I don't think I would be happy if I did that.

    I suppose none of us expect to win the big battles. Maybe that's okay. I will take the small victories. Maybe tomorrow's battles won't be so bad.

    What excatly is going on? Are they not doing anything to try to fix your server or something else?
     
    Actually, the problem was fixed a minute ago. I am thanking god for that.

    Oh, and how does this fit under resources? It isn't a resource to anyone else, just my ranting.
     
    Yeah, well Discussion is only for advertising and reasources is for everything else. Blame JKaizer for it. Glad your problem was fixed!
     
    I would think that resources would be things like hosting, software, layouts, and all that kind of stuff.

    Yeah, they seem to be running fine now. The only thing is, it was an old backup, so I have to re-upload WCC 3.0, the Arda Chronicles, and reinstall one of my vB skins. =/
    So what exactly was the problem? I never had any troubles accessing WCC- it was just Kyletech and the Cpanel.
     
    *sigh* Personally, I think this is better outside resources too. It's got nothing to do with resources. *moves back out*
     
    Dedic8ed servers are teh evil. I liked the original server better. Less downtime +error

    And Dedicated servers are annoying. Reserller accounts are better.
