    BE BACK WITH THE REST OF THE VOLUME ON THE SAME DAY, PROMISE :)


    This manga is pretty different from Pokemon Adventures/Special. It's based off the anime rather than the games, meaning the focus is once again on Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu. Many characters and plotlines are ripped straight from the anime, like Duplica and her Ditto. Dengeki also differs from Pokemon Special in that it focuses a lot more on the characters, relationships and humour (hint: a LOT of potential pokeshipping) rather than epic battles and quests. Even Viz' notorious 'manga-raping' was only evident in a few instances, and most often the characters look so cute that you end up ignoring it.

    This book was bound really tightly and so a lot of the pages have been 'cut' on the inside. Though KazukiPP has done his best to re-write/clean the text as much as possible, you will have to do some guessing with some of the words, sorry!

    I know that I'm kinda coming out of nowhere with this here, but seeing this topic reminded me that I used to actually have quite a few issues of this manga when I was little. So I went digging through my closet and sure enough, I was able to find my old issues, and in pretty good condition too. I actually have all four issues of Volume 1 (Electric Tale of Pikachu) and the first three of Volume 2 (Pikachu Shocks Back). Unfortunately, however, I don't have a scanner, so I can't scan them... :(

    So I guess that's not really much help... but I figured I'd mention it, seeing as how the books have been lurking in the depths of my closet for a good 5+ years without seeing the light of day. I might as well get some use out of them... I do have a digital camera, so maybe I might be able to pull it off with that... but I don't know... the quality would probably suck. I can try though, if you guys really want me to and if time permits.

    Hmm, well seeing as I've finished scanning in Pikachu Shocks Back (and am just cleaning them up for release now), it would be awesome if you could try getting the 4th issue of of Electric Tale of Pikachu, as that's the only chapter missing right now and I haven't got the library copy yet. You could take a few shots with your digital camera and if the quality's too terrible, you can just leave it to me :)

    Okay everyone, ch.2 and 3 of Pikachu Shocks Back are up! Man I've been busy today...

    I don't know how long each is supposed to be, but if I have all of Electric Pikachu Boogaloo, I could try getting some up. I have my camera too and a scanner at school that I could use after spring break. Just let me know if I can help! :3
    edit: Actually, now that I looked, I think I have all of Electric Pikachu Boogaloo.

    Oh that would be wonderful! I really really want to read that volume, and it would be great if we could get the ENTIRE series up on pkmncommunity, y/y? :3
     
    I will see how well the camera works out, but I might just wait until next week to use the school scanner.
    I feel that I should give something back to the community after reading so mush of the manga that was scanned. ;)

    That's great, as long we get to read volume 3, I think everyone will be happy :)

    VOLUME 2: PIKACHU SHOCKS BACK IS COMPLETE. Going to go focus on Adventures Vol.23 for a bit now...so sayonara for a bit :)
     
    I finished Chapter 1 of Vol.3 and I also put all of the chapters so far onto a photobucket. As soon as I hit 15 posts I can post the links. ^^
