    Aside from Friends, Desperate Housewives is my favorite show in the world. So imagine how distraught I was when it ended, it was truly one of the most heartwrenching finales I've seen in my life.

    So, for all you lovely housewives of Wisteria Lane, I present to you this Van De Kamp-approved thread in which you may discuss the unaging Housewives to your hearts content! Of course, there are those who hated the show when it was on and even though I resent you all for it, I invite you to dare why you disliked this show.
    But, now, my little Scavo children, discuss! Who is your favorite housewife? Your least favorite? Favorite husband? You can and should talk anything that comes to mind, anything!
    Except Karen McCluskeys death. Some of us are still grieving over that.

    I loved Gabriella x Carlos. They were probably the most entertaining couple in the entire series. Though I shouldn't be one to talk - I only started watching it towards the end. XD;

    I've only seen a couple episodes of the show. But I thought it was alright show whenever I did get a chance to watch. I would plan on watching the next week to get more into the show but the timing was wrong. It came at the same time as another show I would like watch. But overall to me it was a good show. And I also like Vanessa Williams.

    I love Desperate Housewives, I'm so sad that this show is over. It had to finish one day, I know, but I'll find it strange not to have the annual season. Each year, the new Desperate Housewives season was the one I was waiting for the most.
    Who's your favourite housewife? Gabrielle ! She's really funny. She had a horrible personnality sometimes, but strangely we don't mind and still like her. Even with the most disgraceful behaviour... We can't prevent us from forgiving her. In the depths she's also someone awesome, who touched me numerous times.
    Your least favourite? I can't decide. I love them all.
    Favourite husband? Tom ! His relation with Lynette is the most adorable.
    Spoiler:

    I'll help you with that, darling! Pick Susan Mayer. Delfino. Whatever name she had, she was still the worst housewife on the block. How does she solve all her problems? By running away OR by having yard sales! Yard Sales, a Susan Delfino Trademark. Let's not forget that fact that the stupid broad painted a confession of her guilt about Alejandro's murder and it got put up in an art gallery! Granted, the painting got taken down, but regardless, stupid girl. Also, I don't care what anyone thinks, but MJ was locked in a dungeon for most of Season 7 and the entire first half of Season 8. She put him in there. Where was MJ? Whatever, I'm sooooo done with Susan. Though, I was never particularly fond of Edie. Andy/Shining Raichu thought I would have loved her, because according to him, we're soooooooo similar (smh), but I couldn't stand her. I was happy when the aging, stale cow was killed off the show.

    Spoiler:

    Let's be honest, though, it was obvious they were going to get back together, really. Tom would have never stuck with that...that... USURPER! (read usurper in Marge Simpson's voice please)

    I have to admit that sometimes, she was a face to give a slap on ! Actually, mainly in the last season. She was a real coward. But at the same time, we'll never forget her hilarious clumsiness. She was to my mind one of the most interesting character in the firsts seasons, but in the lasts one she became kind of boring. We discovered a selfish side that displeased me.
    Edie was a character that I liked a lot, and I was very sad of her death, but finally she hasn't missed to the show that much, and we could totally do without her.

    It's weird. Desperate Housewives was the show that got me into television in a meaningful way and yet I can't remember anything about it, and stopped watching half-way into the second season. Wait, scratch that. I wanted to claw Teri Hatcher's face off whenever she was on screen flailing around and being all 'Oh Mike! Why doesn't he love me!?!?' But apart from that... nothing. And it's weird how much that show introduced me to television and television criticism, which I actively follow to this day. So, thanks DH! Too bad you couldn't be more memorable...
