    CHAPTER 1
    A new beiging!​


    Devin is a young boy with many dreams. He wishes to become a pokemon professional like his dad. But he lives with his Aunt Beatie.
    One night Devin was sitting in his room staring out the window. It was pouring rain outside. Devin thought about the many pokemon out there with no shelter.

    Devin lied down staring up at the cieling. A crack of thunder and a bolt of lightning knocked out the power. Devin curled up under the covers and fell asleep in pitch darkness.

    Devin woke up and walked down stairs. Devin poured a bowl of cereal and sat on the floor and turned on the TV. The news autoatically came on:

    "Good morning Hoenn! I am Jamie coming to you from just outside Pro. Birch's Lab. Pro. Birch has made a great discovery! Pro. Birch has discoverd the legendary "dogs" Raiku,Entei,and Suicune. These legedary "dogs" have not been found, but discovered. That concludes our report for today. Have a good day!"

    Devin turned the TV to pokemon cartoons. Devin ate his breakfast. Then got dressed. Devin looked out the window. "Still pouring." he said to himself. Devin put on a black hat with a white pokeball on it. Devin's brown hair stuck out from the sides a little. Devin walked out the door and to Pro.Birch's lab. Devin walked in. "What happened to you?" said the Pro. "Rain happened" said Devin. Devin took off his hat and squeezed the water out of it. Water dripped on the floor and made a big puddle.Devin followed Pro.Birch to a table where three pokemon sat. Devin studied the pokemon carefully.... which will he choose?

    CHAPTER 2
    Oldale Town!

    After many many minutes, Devin finally chose Torchic. "I choose Torchic" said Devin. Pro.Birch handed Devin Torchic's pokeball. "Devin, you have a big responsibility now. You must take care of your pokemon. It is like a brother or a sister. Torchic will be you partner forever. If you let it down, you let yourself down..."

    Devin nodded then walked out. One of the assistants handed Devin a towel. Devin wrapped himself in the towel and walked to Oldale Town.

    Devin walked in the mud and wet grass. He finally reached Oldale Town. Devin walked into the Pokemon Center and plopped down on a couch.

    Nurse Joy came by. "Oh Dear, are you sick?" "No im okay" said Devin. Nurse Joy gave Devin a bowl of hot soup and Torchic some pokemon food. They both ate.

    Devin fell asleep on the couch. When he woke up he found trainers sprawled out all over the place. Torchic looked up at Devin. "Tor? Torchic?" Torchic said sadly. Devin picked up Torchic and stroked its head. Devin yawnec and looked out the window and saw lightnight and rain pouring down on Hoenn.

    Devin and Torchic went back to sleep. The next morining came. Nurse Joy was panacing. "Nurse Joy? What's wrong?" Devin asked. "Oh it's a pokemon it just left into the storm!" Nurse Joy said crying. Devin walked out into the rain with Torchic in its pokeball.

    Devin wandered out into the raging storm...
