    In pokemon Diamond. Using the GTS. Do you have to be connected to the internet when putting a Pokemon up for trade. Or can you just, put in the pokemon, and someone will trade themselves?

    Because its hard to get a Wi-Fi connection in my house. Please help me.
     
    After that, you don't have to stay online or even have the game on for the trade to happen. The Pokemon remains on the Wi-Fi Connection, and while you're off doing whatever, if someone wants to trade, they confirm it and the trade is done, leaving their Pokemon on Wi-Fi until you come back online to claim it. Fairly simple.
