    Hi!

I used Action Replay and PokéGen to get a "perfect" Bulbasaur. But as you all know, you need to know your "SID" to get a legal Pokémon. So I used my Action Replay to find it out. No problems yet, but after I'd transformed my Bulbasaur from PokéGen >> Action Replay >> Pokémon SoulSilver Version, it says following:

"The save file has been ereased during corruption.
A new save file will be loaded.
    ".

Is it just the save file that is damaged, or should I buy a new game? :(
    Thanks for reading this!

That sometimes happens and no ur game is not broken :)

It's just the save file. When you get a corrupted file on a computer, what happens? It gives you a big ol' error message, and then tells you to close the program. Same thing here. And it's the exact reason I don't use data modification tools anymore.

When you say that, do you mean that "it happens sometimes" when you're using Action Replay/PokéGen...?

It can certainly happen on its own, yeah, but it's ridiculously rare. Using an AR significantly raises your chances of getting corrupt data, because the game is trying to run something it wasn't made to handle.

Your game is fine, though your save might not be. If you have more concerns, please take this to the 4th gen help thread, thanks.
