Different methods of shiny obtaining!

As you know, there are plenty of different ways to get shiny Pokémon. These may include finding them by surprise, chain fishing, getting them in horde battles, through Poké Radar chaining, Friend Safari, and of course, the Masuda Method. None of them work the same, others have better chances, and there are different ways to get them that some people may like.

Which way of getting a shiny do you enjoy the most? Discuss.

I stick to the tried-and-tested method of not hunting shinies until you find one by surprise. There is simply not enough patience in me to actively pursue such rare Pokemon, so I never resort to any of the other methods other than Masuda; I use a foreign 6IV Ditto when breeding for competitive 'mons, but I'll stop as soon as I get the distribution and nature that I'm going for.

im trying to shiny hunt for my first time it's not going well probably because i don't have the time. i tried horde hunting yesterday and today it didn't happen. i'll try dexnav when i get a chance.

I've tried a few different methods but Masuda Method is definitely what I go with the most. I wasn't a fan of chain fishing, and while I did find a few through the Friend Safari but nothing is as satisfying as having that egg hatch and having your shiny baby Pokemon sitting on the screen in front of you.

Masuda Method. I like my shinies customized and that's the easiest I can get without doing much effort.

I never have the patience for the various chaining methods xD Whenever I muster up enough of it to try them out, I always end up breaking the chain when I'm really far in and it's infuriating! I used to use a foreign ditto for breeding competitive Pokemon for the off chance I get lucky and get a shiny but I haven't as of yet and it's not really something I actively pursue :P
