    If you get a pokemon from Colessium and transfer it to Diamond or Pearl will it say it came from a distant land?
     
    As far as I'm concerned, yes. But remember you can't transfer Pokémon from Colosseum directly to D/P. You'll need to transfer them to a GBA Pokémon game, and then use the Pal Park to get it on D/P.
     
    The reason you can't get it to Diamond and Pearl is because the GCN only links up with the Gameboy Advance series of handhelds.

    Leaving DS with the Wii. [It is much better this way.]
     
    Since gamefreak got lazy, they rather put Distant Land rather then it came from Orre from both Colessium and XD, maybe there will be more games for the Wii besides battle revolution, that might catch more pokemon, and that could be the cause.
