Do you have any Pokemon "prized possessions"?

as for most value, definitely my lugia v alt art! the art on it is beautiful and i'll never ever sell it lol.

As for sentimental, i have plenty, but i'd say my alcremie plush i got from japan, I searched like almost every pokemon center except one and it had the exact one i wanted lol

For most sentimental value, i have found most of my gen 4-7 original cartridges (or repurchased them and restored the save files I had backed up a decade ago). Sadly, my gen 1-2 games had their save files disappear over time. The only gen 3 game I have physically recovered is Emerald.

For most valuable, definitely this card I pulled from SWSH Lost Origin set. It sells for around $350 USD ungraded, but I want to keep it. It practically shimmers in person!

The carts I still own (Diamond, Black, Moon and especially SoulSilver) are all very sentimental to me since I have a lot of good memories playing on them! Another sentimental Pokemon item I own is this wallet I got from a Japanese family friend, I haven't seen him in many years so it's the only thing I have to remember him by. I can't for the life of me find anything about it online though so I'm unsure if its actually rare.

In terms of physical goods, my Southern Islands Mew and 1st edition Here Comes Team Rocket! (holo) are probably my most prized.

The most in sentimental value are my Burning Shadows Tapu Bulu rainbow rare, a Scorbunny plush that I got for my birthday, and a Kleavor pin, I just love the little fella.

In terms of monetary value is my Base Set (1998) Doduo card (I genuinely have no idea where I got it, I was digging through my collection and it just appeared lol. I don't have any other 1998 cards). It's in really good condition for being in a shoebox for years.

I have a large Zekrom figurine that stands at about 7 inches tall that came with a few others. Also, in addition to the Z-Bracelet that can function with the Gen 7 games. I LOVE that bracelet by the way, it fits well on the arm and does not cause discomfort while playing. Also, it makes cool noises!!!! =D

For cards, I would say my favorite card(s) I own is a promotional full-art Zygarde EX, or possibly my secret-rare Alakazam-EX from Fates Collide. Just generally cool cards.

It isn't rare, and it isn't valuable, but in one of my boxes somewhere I've got a copy of this Volume 2 Prima Guide for Diamond and Pearl. The front cover is ripped and cut, the edges are in terrible condition, my god, and I think one page is just completely ripped out of it. It's just that it was like, the prized possession for me when I was younger. It was something I'd constantly reference as I became more familiar with hundreds of Pokemon, their movesets, their types, any evolution methods, and what they were weak to or what I should expect from them. I brought it to school a few times, a teacher of mine took it away and threw it in the trash, and I went in there to retrieve it the same day.
As I grew older and that sorta thing became permanent knowledge I started relying on it for maps of each area to memorize every floor of every cave or find anything in a route I'd miss.

I could argue it's not even that sentimental, since I've stopped using it over time and it was given to me by someone I'd rather never speak to again. I suppose I do have good memories with it, though, and if I have to be honest, I doubt I'd have continued to play or care about Pokemon if I didn't have it to rely on.

I have a second copy of the same book that I keep in good condition. The pages feel smooth to flip through, everything is readable, and it looks fantastic. But like hell it'd ever be the first one I'd grab off the shelf.~

I'm not sure what to pick... The Glaceon figure I picked up not long ago is standing close to me and I'm pretty proud of it. Kinda wanna go with it, but feels too recent.
There's various other plushes and figures coming to mind. Then there's my old TCG binder back from elementary school.

I'll just say all of it xD

Groudon card from the Celebrations set. It's not super rare or anything, but Tabitha, who's on the card, is my favorite Pokemon character of all time.
Celebrations was a surprisingly good limited edition set. They could have just released all the cards in the Classic Collection as they were, nuking the value of those cards on the secondary market, but no, they went the full 9 yards to give us special holo foil patterns & the works.

I managed to get a copy of Gen 1 Blastoise & Umbreon Gold Star via Celebrations, the former of which allowed me to organize a demonstration of Gen 1 TCG for the local retro & board game club.
