4th Gen Do you nickname your Pokemon?

    An interesting question, hm? Do you have any Pokemon you nicknamed, what was the nickname and why did they have that nickname?
    No naughty words, children. T~T

    I suppose I should explain some myself. I'll use my team as an example.
    My Gardevoir is called Rosalina, based off her resemblence to Princess Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy. Uncanny, no?
    My Gengar is called Phasmatis, which is Latin for 'ghost'. I thinks.
    My Vespiquen is called Myrrah, which is the name of the Locust Queen from Gears of War. Nifty.
    My Weavile is called Gaiden, based off Ninja Gaiden. Heh heh.
    My Milotic is called Kraken, obviously inspired by the ancient mythical sea beast of the same name.
    My Magmortar is called Melfice, based off one of the main antagonists from the Grandia series. I felt Velmar should be saved for something more dark.

    Theres no point in nick naming your pokemon unless your "very" bored
    or you think your in some fantasy world that you "HAVE" to give your pokes
    names >.> >.>

    For example, i feel like im in a world like bleach and i call my weavile ichigo? 0_o
     
    I couldn't trust myself naming my Pokémon. Last time I ended up calling my Pikachu "Blitzkrieg" and the rest of my Pokémon profanities.
     
    I only nickname my pokemon unless I accidentally caught them or the person I'm trading them to wants them nicknamed.
     
    When i started off with pokémon, i would nickname all my pokémon. Take, for instance, Turtwig - i called him "Turty". I also nicknamed a Smeargle "Smeargy". A bit weird, huh?
     
    I don't nickname my pokemon. Its pretty hard to come up with a creative name. But Skyeslipstream, your nicknames are really good, nice job.
     
    there are roumours that you pokemon gain more EP (effort points i think it is) if you nick name them!

    And a rumour is all it is. No such thing happens.

    Anyways, I nickname alot of my Pokemon, although some are rather, shall we say, inappropriate. (*cough Dugtrio named Threesome cough*)

    On topic, yes, I nickname every Pokemon I catch.. it's more habit now than just for fun.
     
    i would like to nickname them but the creative juices dont flow for me. i will get a good nick name some times like my Houndoom being named "Darth Doom" pretty lame i know but i like it :D
     
    I always name mine. I can't list them because there's too many.
     
    I name my pokemon! Accept HM slaves... Or accidental captures.

    I nickname pretty much all my pokémon, except ones I know people will want (like Legendaries), but I love my newest team which you can see on the yellow banner in my sig. They are nicknamed (in order, left to right):-

    Nite Owl, Archimedies (Archie), Rorschach, Ozymandias, SilkSpectr and Manhattan.

    Guess what my favourite film is?
