I only used the GTS once and don't plan to use it in the future, because of all the hacks on there.

I only used the GTS to get the Honey Tree Pokemon, nothing else. I even bred my own versions of them in case the ones I got were hacked, then deleted the traded ones.

Yes I did. I traded Geodudes to get the 2 remaining starters as well as a legit Japanese Palkia untouched. For the other Pearl exclusives, I traded Diamond exclusives to make it fair.

I do fair trades. I raised a Chimchar to Level 50, it bacame Infernape, gave it a Lucky Egg, and got a Legit Palkia. I too have seen many hacks there!!

I'll be honest; I don't hack, I don't own an AR, or any of that, but there was one time when I put my level 73 Spiritomb up for trade on the GTS for a female Milotic (any level, it didn't matter to me), and recieved a badly hacked, level 61 Milotic.

What made it so obvious was the fact that is was caught in a masterball, at the location "Pokemon League."

Anyways, at that point I just wanted to get rid of it, so I put it back on the GTS. I wouldn't consider what I did ripping someone off, considering all I asked in return for it was a Kabuto =/

I feel like a total n00b when I'm reading all this hack suff. oo;
I have no idea if any of the pokemon I get are hacked. Then again I just ask for cheap-o pokemon to finish up my pokedex. Like putting up a lv. 40 Riolu and getting a lv. 19 Misdreavus in return. Or putting up a lv. 43 Drifblim and getting a lv. 20 Barboach in return. :/ It's no big deal to me really.

This is why I caught everything I could by myself, so I don't end up with some loser's hacked Milotic. The funny thing is, back in Sapphire, I found Feebas completely by accident. XDDD!

Well once I did get a hacked blaziken off it... it was lv 4caught in route 202....:'( But it was usefull in hacking some idiot off for their shiny deoxys :D

Maybe they wanted a Milotic that evolves from Feebas and with proper breeding can be more useful in a regular fight than a cheap legendary!
