Do you smoke or drink?

Everyone knows smoking and drinking is injurious, still everyone does. What's your take?

I don't smoke anything. I don't do drugs of any kind. It is simply bad for you and habit forming and I have no intention starting any of that ever.

I only drink for taste, not to get drunk or even buzzed. I'll drink wine with dinner or have a caesar if I'm out somewhere, and that's about it normally. Maybe champagne even though I don't like it, and maybe something fruity while at a pool or something. But, still never drunk or approaching it. I never want to be incoherent or without my barrings on unaware or lessen my cognitive abilities in any fashion.

I smoke cigars on occasion, just for enjoyment. It's pretty relaxing and I enjoy the taste of it. Not any sort of addiction though. Drinking I do like the majority of college students do =P

I don't smoke. I'll probably give weed a chance if I had the opportunity, though, but nothing with tobacco. I already have breathing problems, I don't need any more. I've tried drinking, but I can't even make it through the drink to actually feel anything because it tastes so bad to me.

Similar to my main man Pachisou. I also have breathing difficulties and I sure as hell do not want any more. I pretty much don't drink as well but that's just a personal preference and not a particularly strong one at that either.

Marijuana and tobacco both irritate me (figuratively and literally) and alcohol doesn't agree with me (as an aesthetic experience or its effects) so both are off the table as far as I'm concerned. I'm a fairly healthy person, but heart disease and alcoholism both run in my family and I don't want to become a statistic.

I could barely stand the company of those smoking around me, much less doing it myself. Nope, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, and when I was just at the age of seven, my dad pretty much tainted my taste for alcohol forever. Hence why I pretty much steer clear all that stuff. Plus, I consider myself generally healthy and I wouldn't want to cause what could be preventable health issues.

I don't intend on smoking any tobacco products or weed. Both have left a bad taste in my family, and I don't want to have my children and grandchildren deal with either of those. I'm not against weed, but like I said, it just left a bad mark in my family. I don't drink, but I intend on it when I can. I wanted to while I was in London since I was of age there, but I didn't want to do or say something stupid in front of someone, so I decided against it. I'm not gonna be some heavy drinker though, lol. I'm not even all that interested now. If I was, I would have drank illegally by now.

Smoking: Tobacco is a big no-no. The idea of it has absolutely no appeal to me, and I've managed to get this far in life without smoking it, so hopefully that'll be the case for the rest of my life. Weed, on the other hand, is something I'd like to try just once. I'd probably do it in a brownie, but I wouldn't be averse to smoking it. "Just once" being the key words, however.

Drinking: I don't particularly like alcohol, but I'll drink in certain social situations. Even then, I'm very choosy about what I'll drink: essentially, it comes down to whisky and Coke or gin and tonics. Wine is horrible, beer is horrible, vodka is horrible etc. The list goes on. And I'd never think to have a drink by myself; the thought of that just feels weird to me.

I've smoked before (cigars and cigarettes), but only when really drunk, haha. Never sober. I don't want to take up the habit like a couple of my friends have. I want to try weed at some point in the near future as well, both smoking and like in a brownie or something. As for drinking, I don't drink often. As a general rule, I don't drink alcohol during the week (Friday nights don't count) and on weekends I only limit myself to maybe one or two drinks unless I'm at a party in which I drink a fair bit more than that. I don't party often, though. I'm a health freak, that's why all the rules. XD

Don't smoke. I've got great self-control considering EVERYONE in the store I work in smokes. Second-hand smoke is enough, thanks. Smoking is too expensive for me. I've got better things to spend my money on right now. Also, health issues. But it's sad that I'm more opposed to spending the money... :p

I drink on occasion. Maybe once a month, if that? Not a big beer drinker, but I enjoy mixed drinks. It's not something I do very often, though. Again, it's expensive and I have better things to do.
    If I buy drinks for home, I'll just have one for taste. If I'm at the bar, I'm there to get drunk, hahaha... ^^;

I am not a smoker... I don't even like walking by other people that smoke.

I do drink occasionally though, not to the point of being smashed, I don't really see the appeal in that, but a couple drinks socially to alleviate any tension in a group, or to loosen up conversation isn't really a bad idea I think. Also, if someone offers me a Guinness, I don't usually refuse it.

Ive never smoked and I never plan to. Smoking is really disgusting. I do drink from time to time, but not a lot or very often, I just dont want alcohol that often really, which is probably a good thing since it can be bad to drink too much.

Basically this applies to me too .o.

I don't smoke because I didn't grow up in the sixties or seventies; I grew up in a time where everybody knew better than to start such a silly habit lol.

As for drinking, I made the executive decision not to start. If you never start, you'll miss it, right? I also fear I have an addictive personality, so I find it's just better never to open that can of worms. Also it tastes terrible and I object to the mentality I see in people my age all around me; they started drinking when they were 15 or 16 and now they start to feel like there's no social gathering that should be without alcohol. It's almost as though they need alcohol now, in order to have fun. I just don't want to be like that.

I don't smoke cigarettes, but I'm not averse to trying weed if any of my friends are ever into it. I can only think of one person I know that smokes weed though so not really an option.

At the moment I drink maybe once a week, get tipsy/a little drunk, and then stop and hang out with my friends haha. I won't drink nearly as much over the summer, and I have no idea about the fall since a lot of my friends are graduating that I drink with.

The same thing applies with me, except I also have a disdain for those who smoke, as well as those who drink in especially excessive amounts. I've no idea why people still do that.

I smoke on occasion but it's rare considering I prefer pot brownies to joints and I only smoke a cigarette once in a blue moon.

Drinking however is something I do more often than smoking but just barely. I don't drink for fun though as I'm a lightweight to begin with when it comes to my booze, only times I really get smashed are when I'm going through some **** so rough I feel like I can't handle it sober and when nobody's around to witness my drunkenness firsthand.

I don't do any of those things, even though I did drink a little beer once. I don't want my health to be at too much risk.

I don't smoke, but unfortunately I go to a high school where it's very common among peers -_- I hate it, and I always will... the irony is that both of my parents smoke and my older brother used to do it occasionally.

As for drinking: absolute no for me because of my age. I may want a sip once I turn 21 just to try it out and see, but I will promise myself once that comes not to get too abusive with alcohol.
