Do YOu trust the VirusDoctor online?

i need to know, because it won't let me log out until i download it, unless i want my copmuter to crash supposedly. do y'all trust it?
i posted int eh webmasters dicussion on accident, though.

Personally, I regard all free checks done online as viruses themselves.

Just close out of the window and if it crashes it means it already went ahead and downloaded stuff onto your machine.

google seems to tell me that VirusDoctor is a virus. Better get a good anti-virus to remove it or use one of the many links in google search for VirusDoctor

If it's a program, just go in to your Startup folder (Start Menu -> All Programs, -> Scroll or Read until you find it) and remove it if it's there, then restart your computer.
If it's a website, restart your computer.

By restart, just hit the power button (nothing can stop that, believe me). Just save anything you have open, though.

Then, install something like Avira or get a paid AntiVirus (paid ones are usually better) and have it do a Full System Scan.

You should probably get the free anti-malware named Malwarebytes (from Download.com) and then clean up your PC. There's a chance that it is still somewhere in your PC, or any past virus anyways.

IMO, don't trust any online scanning software, except for trusted sites like norton, avg, microsoft etc.
