Simple question. If you were to be offered a staff position in your section of choice, would you accept it? Why or why not? What if it wasn't in your section of choice?

Staff, did you specifically want to be staff when you were asked, or did you simply take the position because it was presented to you?

It would be cool but I'd probably get lazy after a while. Not sure if I would be able to consistently perform my duties and such.

I wanted to be a moderator, and I wanted to be a super moderator.

If I was a regular member and was given an offer to mod the forums now, though, I'd turn it down.

I wouldn't care if I don't get to be a staff member for some reason or another, but if an offer to be a mod is given to me, I'd take it.

Honestly, I would accept it in an instant. I just think that I would handle it well and would be interesting. Idc what section, I'd still accept most likely.

I didn't expect to be chosen as a mod so I never really considered it before getting asked, but yeah, I'm glad I did, it's been a lot of fun. I took the position 'cos I was offered it and I wanted to help the section as much as possible since it was my favourite place to be and the people there were utterly amazing to talk to and share ideas with, so anything I could do to help make the section better for these people I was going to accept. :3

Hmmm... A tough one. Yeah, I would accept. I know from experience that running a forum is hard. Tbh, I never been a mod in any forum... =/ But I have been admin... Weird. Anyways, I would accept because, even though it is somewhat hard, I find it cool, not because of perks, etc. It is because that I get to be with the awesome mods out there... =3 And being RULER is AWESOMESAUCE!

The only section I could see myself moderating would be C&M, and we all know that if I was to be modded there that a) Jon would have to be dead, because C&M doesn't need two mods b) the forum would be an apocalyptic wasteland within two days (though I suppose it is a wasteland anyway) and c) divine intervention would be needed for me to even be considered as a mod. I suppose I've made it clear that I would accept an invitation to be a moderator, but only if it was C&M. Any other forum would collapse and die once I got a hold on it.

How long ago was it that I set up the server for your vBulletin? :P Even though I've administered a forum board for two months and many incarnations of it since before December 2011, I can't really say I'm experienced in having pretty much complete control over a forum board ^^';.

However, if I was asked to be a moderator I would likely accept (especially if it was for Emulation :D), and would also accept Super Moderator abilities (even though they don't mod specific forums). In the uber unlikely event that I of all people is offered an admin position here or anywhere else, I honestly wouldn't know what to say -.-.

I would take it, but I'm not sure people would take me seriously whenever I get my MOD VOICE out, and I'm not sure they would even choose me in the first place.

But yeah, I would take it although it would probably ruin the whole forum within a couple of days because I really suck at responsibility.

I didn't like...strive to be a moderator. I mean, I knew it'd be nice, but I was just enjoying PC and reporting stupid stuff and Went was just like "So how's Labor Day? Boring? Jazz it up by modding Metal/Color Gen, Adv Gen, GPG, and spin offs!" :OOOOOO OKAY THEN SURE. I ran around the house because I'm a dweeb. But an- OMG dweeb is a real word -yway, it was just a pleasant surprise even though it wasn't my number one goal here or anything. And I've been doing it for almost three years I'M OLD. :(
