Does anyone know how to build a halfpipe?

    Ok, one day I wanted to go to the skatepark and my parents wouldn't take me. So, I went over to my friend Dylan's house and we were talking and he said, "I'm gonna build a halfpipe"
    I said, "Good idea, are you actually gonna do it this time?" Because he never does any thing he says. So, I left for home because he had to go in because his Mom was leaving. So I whipped out some old wood I had looked at it and I had two about 1 foot by around 6 feet 5-ply plywood, about 5 different sized 3 by 3's, and lots of 2 by 4's. So my friends Hunter, Joel, and Dylan came over and we sawed some cuts and eventually looked at the blueprint, which was red, and realized we had no clue how to bulid a halfpipe and that we couldn't build it out of that. Can anyone help us in our time of need?
     
    first you have to builde a base, that's the easy part...the hard part is bending thin wood enough so that it makes a good 180 degrees...but I think it'd be cheaper and easier and a LOT faster just to be 4 quarter pipes (or build them) and put them together....

    like children with no vision do exactly what their BOO ya!
     
    Thanks.... I think. But wouldnt building a quarter pipe hard too?
     
    I have to say when i read the thread title i thought, how lame another sk8ter!1 but then i saw the username "HIM" I tought, finally someone with good taste in music!

    then i scroll to see the "Bam" sig, how dissapointing it was another sk8ter ;(

    You get a giant pipe and cut it in half! See! Half pipe! Hehe....
    The only way I know how to make a half pipe is how they made it on Rocket Power........that looks like it might take a while though...

    Um, exuse me? What did I do? I was just commenting. I didn't mean to offend you in anyway at all. I never said anything was wrong with skateboarding, in fact, I kinda want to learn how to do it myself!
     
    I didn't mean you couldn't have good taste in music and be a skater. But i bet you just started listening to HIM after you saw how Bam margera used that Heartagram everywhere.
    I hate bam for dong that, HIM is a gothic band and it should stay that way, i hate seeing skaters with his logo that listen to all this poppy bands and then HIM...
    God, i hate Bam.

    I don't buy CD's as I download songs. I use eMule to download them. But I have so many songs...
     
    Honestly, SDP, could you stop critisizing people? Anyways, I thought 100Marios was funny.. Wierd... I'm lost.
     
    sdp is a sad man riding a happy vehicle...honestly is it possible for you to like anybody that doesn't have the exact same views you do. You act as if everone elsre is inferior unless they completely agree with everything you believe in...geez!

    this is thread is almost pointless...the post will determine whether I should close it or leave it open...
