I got one slot left to fill on my team and I was thinking about adding Dreepy I got a couple Lv1's from surprise trading.

Just wondering if its gonna be hard work training as it doesn't evolve til Lv50 and if its worth it?

Its final form has very good stats - I think it's worth it in the long run! 120 base attack, 100 base special attack, and 142 base speed is a force to be reckoned with.

Will be a bit tough to use it if you can't guarantee it being 60 by the final story battles though (assuming you're going through story still), since its second form is not the best stats-wise. Would you want to spend some time in the Wild Area training (and maybe doing raids to farm Rare Candies/Exp. Candies) to level it? Probably wouldn't be too difficult with high levels in the Wild Area + candies, plus it'll get boosted exp from being traded.

I'm currently still in the wild area before the first gym so got plenty of story to play still and tend to grind the levels up as much as I can

Yeah, I reckon it'd be fine - worst case, hord some candy for it for near the end.

WHo else has used the guy? This thread is a bit more fitting for questions, so let's try to have more discussion on the new pseudo-legendary.

Gonna give it a go, the end product seems worth it plus training up Dreepy will be an added challenge to the game, seems an interesting combo of Ghost and Dragon

I got one in a Trade and I feel in love with it's final evo. It's a powerful little dude and a Ghost, too! I love Ghost types.

Who would you say is better Dragapult or Gengar?

Was traded a hunter so got a Gengar now not sure whether to keep training Dreepy up or use the Gengar as I've now got a Charmeleon in my squad so got a pokemon for dragon moves

If you have a decent Dragon move user, I'd say use Gengar. Dragapult IS a powerful psudo.. but if you already have a Gengar.. yeah.

I myself think Dragapult is better.. but that's because it's a dragon type too and because of Gengar's nerf of levitate..

Think I'm gonna switch Dreepy out for Gengar
