I'm having a bit of an issue with the touch screen on my DS Lite. Apparently a grain of sand or something stuck to my stylus and scratched my screen. Now, whenever I run my stylus over the scratches, it produces more. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a screen protector for it. Or you could, you know, always buy a new stylus.

Uh, not the issue. There was something- I'd guess granular, like a grain of sand- on my stylus that scratched said touch screen in the first place. It's not on there now. Heck, I have back-ups anyway. The thing is it's scratched now, and I can't drag anything across the screen without messing it up more. I suppose a protector would help... any particular type to look for?

Any particular screen protector will do. They are pretty cheap in any case. Online its even cheaper. I am guessing the grain didn't exist and it was the stylus that causes this because ive had it happen to me as well but i just scratched the tip of it with my finger and nails and it went away. Any how goodluck.

I don't believe it was a grain of sand either. It happened to my DS Lite about one and a half years ago. I was lucky because I had a screen protector on. All I had to was use my spare stylus to ensure no further scratches would be made.

In your situation I can recommend either getting a screen protector, as was previously suggested, or replacing the screen entirely. Replacing your stylus is also advisable.

It was dark, so I guess the stylus could have done it, but this never happened to me before... =/ Thanks for actually answering, people. I was afraid it would die without another post. It's happened before...
