eBay forces Australian users to PayPal

Cause it means sellers are now forced to pay fees when transferring money out of PayPal, thus reducing their profits.

Paypal and Ebay really aren't that fair. They reduce your profits majorly.

The most expensive thing I have sold on ebay was $750 dollars (usd). By the time ebay took their percent, plus their listing fee and paypal got their cut, I think I got out of their with $640ish. Wow, if I wanted $640 I would've asked for that.

I get the whole process of charging to list, of course, ebay isn't on the web for free, and I'm sure they have a big bill, same with Paypal, but come on.

Then with Australians having the lowest currency it really affects their profits. Not cool at all. This world gets more and more greedy by the day.

Tbh Paypal is the more convenient way of paying anyway (as opposed to posting cheques and postal orders) and the only system that can ensure you are refunded if you get ripped of, I can't really see how you can use ebay without it >_>

While I use Paypal in any case, I do not agree with eBay's insistence on a monopoly; it is most unmanly of them. I have used money orders and concealed cash to pay for items in the past and have had no problems.
