    ...Check the closed one for details.... Geez, what's wrong with me? I should know that no one's going to join this, especially now that Flygon Trainer's gone. That's the problem with me. I live on false hope....

    I love dolphins too! :) They're some of my favorite animals! BTW, is Ecco a male or a female? I always thought Ecco was male, though I'm not really sure why...
     
    OOC:^___^ Hee hee! Okay, I think we can start...now!

    IC: Ecco rode the bow wave of the ship, giddy from the overwhelming sense of joy it gave him. The sun was setting, seeming to set the ocean's surface on fire. It had been a beautiful day, so beautiful that no one could suspect the dark event it foreshadowed.

    Ecco dove down underneath the belly of the ship. A "schooner", as the humans called it. 'Why do they make up those strange terms?' thought Ecco. 'It just complicates things.'

    But Ecco didn't dwell on the strangeness of humans for long. Instead, he focused on his next move. Putting all his speed into it, he zoomed upward, breaking through to the surface. For a split second he could sense the border between sea and sky. Then that moment was gone, and he was up, up in the air, in a magnificent flip that made him feel weightless, graceful. Free.

    He turned his body completely over in the air, which was difficult with air pressure pushing down on him. But he did it, and landed back in the sea in an incredible ending to his performance.

    "Well, that was fun!" said Ecco with a grin. "Anyone up for another round?"

    "Ecco..." A beautiful white dolphin swam towards him, a look of either amusement or...well anyway. Lieak seemed amused wih his stunts, and she really enjoyed being around him. "It is getting late..."

    OOC: It's short, but I'm trying!
     
    OOC: Short is fine.

    IC: Ecco turned to the dolphin, momentarily stunned. She was very beautiful....

    "Erm...h-hi," he stuttered. "What's your name?"
     
    "My name is Lieak..." She swam a circle around him, giggling. "I know you're Ecco, because of the stars upon your head...."
     
    "Oh. Yeah, maybe it is getting late..." he said, "...but not too late for a race!" Laughing, he shot, torpedolike, into the sky.
     
    "That is very cute Ecco...but I am not into racing now..." I spotted some fish, zooming over to them, the little buggers got away. "I am too slow....."
     
    "You're not too slow!" Ecco zipped into the school of fish, did an underwater backflip, and grabbed one in his mouth. "But you don't have to race if you don't feel like it right now," he said, bringing Lieak the fish. "I don't really feel like it either."
     
    She nodded, taking the fish. "Thank you....I'm just not a fast swimmer....plus...it's easier for fish to see me...."
     
    "Well, maybe we could work around that. I could teach you some...uh...tactics." He smiled at her, somewhat goofily. He had never felt this way about anyone else before. Could it be....

    Suddenly, Ecco noticed something shiny, in deeper water. It was glowing a light silver, almost unnaturally. Something about it attracted his attention. Almost mechanically, he began to dive towards it...
     
    OOC: Okay, bye! Hope you can come back soon!
    IC: Ecco reached the strange object. He still could not tell what it was. It didn't seem to have a definite shape. Without thinking, he swam closer...
    OOC: Don't really know what it is yet. I'll make it up as I go.
