Whats the average amount of eggs to hatch a shiny? I'm trying to get a a shiny starly. It takes 3,200 steps to hatch my starly eggs.

1 in 8192 (i think thats the chance, off top of my head)

it will probably be much easier learning to chain, and chaining for it. there is a chaining guide in the FAQ

the chances might be 1/8192 or whatever, but you you might not even get one after 8192.

chaining if an 'easier' option if you want shineys.

Yep, getting shiny without a pokeradar is a pain in the ass. I am softresetting for shiny mewtwo. It's over nine thousand now (like something about 15 thousands), and still no sign of shiny mewtwo :(

You're actually trying to catch a Shiny Mewtwo?! What the **** is the world coming to? As for shinies hatching, I believe it's the same as wild Pokemon, 1/8192. If the Female is shiny this doesn't increase the chance but if it holds Everstone, 50% chance of the same nature (I think it's 50%).
