Im on Bertha and no matter what i use something happens so that i lose! any advice?

If you have a grass pokemon, you'll have no problem! Most of Bertha's pokemon are Rock, Ground, Water. These are defensive ones, so level your grass pokemon high enough. Will you please recite your pokemon team?

Yes, grass pokemon will help tremendously. I trade to get a level 50 Treecko (knew all the good moves lol), evoved it, leveld it up about 10 levels and I beat her no problem.

I pick Naetoru as my starter, so I has a Dodaitos with Wood Hammer. I DECIMATED Bertha.

Besides, you can pretty much beat the game with ANYTHING in-game.

i have (in order) Infernape, uxie, dialga, tentacruel, gengar, and snover.

Lose on purpose, catch a grass-type like Roselia, level it up, evolve into Roserade with a Shiny Stone, then replace Snover or Uxie with that.

Trophy Garden. You can also find Pikachu/Pichu there if you need one.

To find a Shiny Stone to evolve it, get one in Iron Island. If you need something to get rid of status ailments, level Roselia up to 43 so it learns Aromatherapy, then evolve it. For a grass-type attack, it can learn Magical Leaf, so I would use that if you don't want to waste a TM or breed all day.

well, couldnt i level up tentacruel? its at level 42 so its weaker than her pokemon but its surf move still packs a whallop!

With 80 base Special Attack and 70 base Attack, I wouldn't really use it.

Gyarados seems like an option though. 120 base Attack, and Waterfall is Physical if I'm correct...

Even in in-game, recharge moves utterly suck.

Why? Unless you can take a strong hit from say, the Champion's Lucario or her Garchomp, you're going to be severely weakened. She could switch out (it happens to me quite often, against the rival and I think Flint), or even use a Full Restore.

However, it's your choice. But if Tentacruel doesn't really help you in the E4, switch it out for a Gyarados and teach it Waterfall. 120 base ATK is pretty nice.

    not many of my pokemon are very strong. Infernape:lv.66 or 67 Uxie:lv.50 dialga:lv.49 tentacruel:lv.42 gengar:lv.37 snover:lv.34

Snover could do some damage if you leveled it up! That would be quicker than getting a Roserade. Give it Exp. Share go into Victory Road, and go crazy with Tentacruel in the lead. Don't stop until snover evolves. It may take a little while, but it will pay off.
