i know wat ev training is but i want to know if u r chaining for a shiny pokemon and u use one pokemon for chaining. so for example i am chaining geodudes do all the effort points i get for defence still come in play so i face 4 geodudes i just gained a ev for defence. plz tell me

okay good i was ev training my scizor for attack for like an hour facing absols and i was hoping that the evs counted

The rule to remember is if you get EXP, you get EVs too. Only battles in battle tower ect dont give EVs, chaining doesnt matter

Yes, the rules for EVing still apply for chaining. This is an extremely good idea, too, seeing as you can gain plenty of EV's this way.
