What's the big deal about EV training...
It's confusing, long and you'd be fine battling without them...

    Natures are good enough.

    Lol, Agreed. But...

Think of EV training as a method for "Advanced Trainer's"(No Offense). I myself hate EV training, and just train for fun as I don't take battling competitively.

EV Training(as you probably heard), helps give your Pokemon the edge in battle. Basically whichever Pokemon you defeat, your Pokemon will gain an Extra Stat Point according to the EV.

An example is if you wanted to train Rampardos to have a lot of Attack Points. Your best bet is to search out Pokemon that give out Attack EV's(Ex: Shinx), which gives out 1 EV.

So, simply defeat 4 Shinx, giving you an extra Attack Point to your Rampardos when it levels up.

It is tough and tiring to EV train, but if your not into it, then train for fun. That's what I do. :)

There are two methods to training. There's the fast method, without EVs. There's the effective method, with EVs. With the effective method, you could make your Pokemon at least 10%-30% stronger. Think long and hard about whether you're willing to sacrifice all that power just to spend less time training. A Pokemon who is raised quickly will die quickly, as I always say.
