Ev traning question

so when you kill 1 pokemon you get 1 point now with the virus you get two points with the item you hold you get 4 points so would you only have to kill 6 pokemon is that right? and if you killed one that gives two and you have the virus as well as it item would get you get 8 points? if so then that would mean you only have to kill 4 pokemon is this right? also if you make all of your pokemon hold luck incense will your prize money like quadruple?
