'Tis just something I wrote when I felt like ranting, or just rambling off shreds of random words. =O

    Life unwinds
    Slowly, one by one
    Unraveled pain
    Contemplation
    Of death

    Beginning ?til
    A new sun?s risen
    Threads of gold
    Weaving across
    Cut by scissors

    A child?s play
    Life in their hands
    Relishing
    The sweetness
    Tasting the bitter

    Succumbed to facts
    Aesthetic ethics
    An altered law
    No more bliss
    Or mere foolishness?

    Deep within
    The pits of black
    A strangled line
    Of losing time
    Too late to turn back

    Simple first
    Inquisitive meet
    A dangled kiss
    Abandoned of lust
    Frowned upon both

    Mystified looks
    But she does not care
    A naivet? heart
    For the one she wants
    Reason she aches

    Opposing one
    Reflection of hers?
    Him, a willful pride
    A stubborn streak
    He does not care

    ?Tis too late
    She had been warned
    Futile pleads
    A desperate cry
    To nonexistence

    Morning dew
    Resting on leaves
    'though cut harshly
    Sun?s golden threads

    Evaporating

Ah... I love your descriptive language. The poem itself seems to twist and turn as thoughts in one's mind so often do. The words touch on many topics at once as they float softly towards the ending... a very good work indeed.

Awwwwwwws, Melody, yet another masterpiece. <3~~~ I swear, you make my writing look like a pile of moosh. XD This poem was confusing yet had a lot of meaning behind it.

It gave the reader a feeling that you need to find the will to go on. You have to keep on moving forward in life, for going back and facing your past is not an option.

It also made me think of an undying love. Or even a love that has already been cursed by death. Very nice work Lily, me wubs it. <3~~~ *stamps the "Kelsey Seal of Approval" on Melody's poem* ^^
