    Last night, I trained a poliwag into a poliwhirl fast using my exp share. Then I forgot to take it from the poliwhirl, and traded it for the jynx to the man in cerulean. Now is there a way to get another exp.share without cheat codes?

    You may be able to transfer an EXP. Share from another one of your games (i.e. Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, etc.)

    You won't be able to get the one you traded off to the ingame trainer unfortunately. Once it's gone, it's well... gone.

    Your only options now are either to trade one over from another game or just restart. =\
    Handy, but EXP Share isn't that necessary for training.

    I feel very sorry for u, and they are both rite.

    Kagami's quite right... I've actually heard that exp share makes your pokémon less strong than if they'd been trained the regular way :/

    Now, I'm not at all sure that was true ^^;

    Actually, Fable, it is true that a Pokemon raised with the Share (or rare candies) will be weaker than a properly-raised one. This is because Pokemon that actually fight battles get hidden numbers called EVs, which increase their stats depending on what and how many Pokemon they battled.

    On-topic, see if a friend has a cheat device. There are AR and Gameshark cheats for almost every item.

    I am currently getting the money to get an action replay. I had one since 03, but it broke early last year. All I could get onto my leaf green before it broke was all tm's, a charizard and a venusaur.

    Problem finding an action replay for the gba at any local retail stores. All I could find is the ultimate pokemon codes thing, is that any good?

    Actually, to add onto your point, a pokemon with an EXP share CAN still get EV's. They are just split in half between the pokemon holding the share and the battling poke.

    P.S.- https://www.psypokes.com/lab/evguide.php it says so here...

    On topic: I think it would just be better to either transfer an EXP share from R/S/E or just live without it. Hacking *as I see it* isn't good for the game.
