I wanted to talk to experienced trainers about battle strategy and different techniques that I could learn from.
The top things I might want to take in more about are,
- Type match ups What's successful against what? (Other than clear ones like flame < water?)
- Specific moves What do you discover helpful and can turn the tide in a losing fight? (I incline toward status moves like Poisoning)
- Abilities What is the most helpful? (I discover Natural Cure to be valuable)
When I finished Diamond, My pokemon were just about 20 lvs beneath the tip top four. I brought 20 Full Restores, 20 Max Potions and 50 Revives. (I didn't utilize every one of them yet I needed to be arranged!)
My pokemon were
Dialga - LV 52
Honchcrow - LV 43
Drifloon - LV 23
Azel(?) - LV 50
Uiex(??) - LV 50
Haunter -LV 48
The most helpful strategy I utilized was "Yawn" with Azel, then when the enemy nodded off, I changed to Haunter and utilized "Condemnation". This would ensure a HP deplete on every turn. I couldn't have done it without those two pokemon cooperating. I imagined that perhaps, MAYBE, certain moves and sorts can overcome pokemon that are unfathomably more progressed by my own.
What do you think?
