    My bestie is a girl named Sarah. I met her at my first job. We went on diner dates with our friendship circle at the time, which included her now boyfriend, and his best friend. Occasionally, other people tagged along. We would go there often and then afterwards we would hang out at the park and stargaze after hours. When we left the job, we continued to stay in contact and hang out. Mostly for food. She's a bit of a prude in many ways, but being around here energizes me in ways where I feel a lot more social afterwards and a lot more lively in general. Her personality and mannerisms tend to fuse with my own, and we end up acting like the same person when we're around each other.
     
    Nowadays, I don't quite know how to define what a "best friend" is since due to life obligations, friendships seem to quickly wane in and out of relevance. But if I measure time spent with, memories, and general feelings of closeness... I'd say I have about three people I could consider to fit this bill? We no longer get to see or speak to each other very often, but I have spent years with these people and we basically grew up together. I still care a lot about them.
     
    I've got a number of friends, but I don't really have a "best friend" like I used to in the past. :(
     
    I don't have one single best friend either. I used to put so much value into a best friendship but what does it really matter in the end. Friends are friends and don't need a label to define how much you love them. I love all of my friends equally and while I am closer to some, I don't see any as the best as of now anyways.
     
    My best friend is 12 years old and he's a great friend.

    I have nothing else to say about him because I would go on for hours about what a great friend he is.
     
    I used to have a really good best friend on here. then he moved on to become the biggest asshole I've known

    BUT NOT TO PUT A DAMPER INTO THIS THREAD, I do have one awesome best friend. I've always overlooked this person, but I realized that I value his friendship more than anything in the world. He lives in Ohio, he is like a little brother to me, and if we ever meet in real life, I think we would be the best roommates in the whole freaking world. if he reads this I think he knows who I'm talking about!!

    However, like Chase, every friend I've made so far... I also value and cherish their friendship. :3

    I've got four best friends.

    1. My pair.
    2. And 3 more people IRL.
     
    In real life there was one best friend in university I would hang out a lot with and she invited me to her graduation (she was a year ahead of me but we took several business and general ed classes together). We're in different parts of California now but we still keep in contact on the phone and online sometimes.

    As for my internet friends, there is one close friend that I've known since I began joining the Pokemon fandom in 2006 and I still talk to him today. We had our disagreements and a couple instances where our friendship was about to break apart, but we still pulled through.
     
    I am currently dating my bffeaeaeae. We've known each other since 2008 and were really close even before we started going out. We love to game, watch Let's Plays, listen to podcasts, go to comedy shows, walk, talk, and make stuff. It's pretty darn rad.

    Looks like you know exactly how to make and keep friends. Maybe I should consult you at some point. :)

    Unfortunately I don't have that luxury of good friends, or friends for that matter. Oh well, that's the way of the brave, but lonesome, warrior.
     
    I have two.

    I have one real life best friend named Tyler. We don't really see each other often, but he's still one of my best friends. We have this thing, or we used to, where after every sentence would say "Doy" and even made a parody with the word with Joy to the World. He's so funny like omg. He also has a disability, but his is a little more mild than what mine are since he's able to hold down a job.

    My second best friend is online. She's one of my closest friends, and I see her as if she was a big sister. She's always there for me if I need someone to talk to. Plus, we can talk about nearly everything too. Lots of the things we talk about are private at times, but yeah. We have no issues with discussing these matters. In fact, most of the private things we've mentioned are something we both relate to as well. I absolutely adore her. She's done so many nice things for me, and she spoils me at times. :P

    I always have a hard time making friends, but those two are actually the ones I adore the most as my best friends. :3
