    [PokeCommunity.com] Fallout Shelter

Fallout Shelter is a building game based in the Fallout universe. You build rooms, breed Vault dwellers, and explore the wastes. The game is largely about resource management, and therefore isn't really for everyone.

So I've been playing it for almost a month now, and I gotta say that even though it has some pretty serious bugs (which resulted in me losing one of my vaults completely) I am very hooked! Maybe it's my attraction to city builders and love of Fallout, but this game is super fun and additcing! A lot of people say it's not deep enough, and yes there are a few things I wish they would add, like Vault-Tec Experiments, but as a mobile game it doesn't need to be complicated.

So discussion time! Have you tried the game yet? What are your impressions? Is it too shallow or just right for an enjoyable experience? Is it just some advertisement for Fallout 4 or does it deserve to exist as its own game?

I played a bit of it, myself. It seems fun and I was surprisingly interested when I saw the demonstration at E3, but I haven't played much. It has cool concepts and is a pretty interesting game of simulation and micromanagement, but I think it might have to do with how little agency you have over what happens in the game. In a lot of ways, it's an ant farm game.

...Hm...thinking I might go play Sim Ant one of these days.

I tried playing it, but the game kept crashing on my phone >_<

omg i played the game right when it came out. i felt bad because i left my dwellers to like die D: my bf is obsessed with this game. maybe i'll redownload it. i feel like it takes up a lot of space.

I played it for a couple days, but then I got pretty bored. I got my vault to maybe about ~30 dwellers but it didn't look like there was a whole lot more to do. I mean, I guess I could keep expanding and try to max out the stats on my dwellers but why bother? As soon as I realized there was no endgame in sight, I lost interest fast.
