Probably just either shoot the Pokemon where it hurts, like the leg or wing. That'd make it easier to catch, if you think about it.

But in all seriousness, it's probably what that person a few posts back said about taking a picture.

"C-Gear" would allow you to walk around in adventure mode and chat with your friends also playing adventure mode
