    [PokeCommunity.com] FlinchHax with the Aeroplane1!

I think I'll start each thread with a sweet picture. And this is a favorite. I can't look without laughing.

Togekiss is so sweet (and looks like an airplane...) so because hes my 4th gen and super cool, I think i'm going to try a FlinchHax team.

I don't really know about a starter... I'm thinking Jolteon because hes fast, can paralyze, and if he can, he can support a little bit.

    Jolteon @ Leftovers
    Volt Absorb
    Timid (-attack, +speed)
    EVs: 252 Hp/ 64 Spec Attack/ 108 Spec Def/ 84 Speed (I have no idea...)
    -Thunder Wave
    -Thunder Bolt
    -Shadow Ball
    -Wish?

Yeah... I don't know if I really like him... Hes fast, so I stuck him as lead. I'll replace him for pretty much anything, just tell me who. EVs make him faster than max Gengar (by 1) and the rest I have no idea. A real EV set could help out... =P

    Togekiss @ Leftovers
    Serene Grace
    Modest (-attack, +spec attack)
    EVs: 108 Hp/252 Spec Attack/44 def/104 speed
    -Air Slash
    -Aura Sphere
    -Thunder Wave
-Scheme/Wish/Roost (I need some help here...)

The star of the team... First 3 moves are pretty self explanitory, Hax and type coverage, then wave if I need it, then I'm not sure on the last set. Scheme is nice but means I have to breed in D/P, Wish helps the team, but with repeated switches, he can get low and its risky, Roost is kinda nice, it can help from predicted bolts and beams, losing his flying type stuff for a turn.

    Tangrowth @ Leftovers
    Impish (-spec attack, + def)
    Trait: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 196 HP / 152 Atk / 160 Def
    -Power Whip
    -Earthquake
    -Stun Spore
    -Reflect/Leech Seed/?

Tangrowth@@ Hes a total beast. Stun spore will get the pokes that T-wave can't, he has a ton of Def, and his attack isn't too bad at all. I'll aim for Chlorophyll, but it doesn't matter really, I don't plan on ever sunny daying with this team, but if they do, it won't hurt too much to have the speed boost. I'm not sure about the last attack. Stole the EVs from his thread... Thanks ADH

    Heracross @ CB
    Adamant (-spec attack, + attack)
    Guts
    EVs: 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 Hp
    -In Fight
    -Megahorn
    -Stone Edge
    -Pursuit

Ugh, I don't want to use him, especially with the standard set, but he really helps out. He can 1 hit Bliss/Celebi, probably Meganium, but i didn't check, some of the most common heal bellers/aromatheropy-ers. Saves my team's butt from getting all the Para aroma'd away. Hes just so common though...
Firemonkey was another option, but he couldn't 1 hit Celabi (though I don't plan to play legendaries, I'd like to be able to OHKO it anyway)

    Donphan @ Leftovers/Expert Belt?
    Sturdy
    Impish (-spec attack, +def)
    EVs: 52 Hp / 252 Def / 206 Attack
    -Earthquake
    -Ice Shard
    -Stealth Rock
    -Rapid Spin

Eh... I don't quite like him. He doesn't really fit in, but he can rock/spin, and when Togekiss takes 25% from SR, I need it gone. Ice Shard to hit Salamence and stuff, Expert belt for that reason really, but I'm not too sure. EQ for stab. Any better ideas for this guy? :\ I really need a spinner with Togekiss.

    Gyarados @ Leftovers
    Intimidate
    Adamant (-spec attack, +Attack)
    EVs: 152 HP / 252 Attack / 84 Def / 20 Speed
    -Dragon Dance
    -Waterfall
    -Stone Edge/Ice Fang/EQ/Whatever
    -Thunder Wave

Yeah. Another T-waver. Low speed because my opponents should be para'd. Waterfall for the Flinchhax. Not sure on the 3rd move, probably stone edge, but I'm not sure. I was thinking about Slowbro, he can wave, gives me water and Ice, but I'm not sure where to put him and it would make 3 pokes weak to electric. I ended up sacking him for Gyara, who really helps with more Hax.

    So yeah. Flinchhax.
Any changes or anything? The EVs could probably use some work...
I'd like to take out Donphan and Jolt maybe, I just don't know what else works well here though.

Just looking things over, Hera might pose problems, but I can para him, then just Air Slash him to pieces.
Garchomp might be a problem, as he resists most of the para, but Tangrowth can get him, I just have to watch if he has Fire Blast though.
Salamence might be another problem, but he doesn't like Para.
Electrivire - Thanks Aragornbird, I forgot him. Hes dangerous with all the T-waving, but Tangrowth can switch in and take 46% max from ice punch, then return an average minimum 94% on the most common Electrivires. Donphan will OHKO with EQ unless its something close to maxHp/Def (never seen).

    Thanks for looking it over!!

Straight from Smogon, but I'd like some help from you guys =P

COME TO THE 4TH GEN SHANE + SYNCH!

Sorry not really good with the 4th generation yet or with Natures

    Jolteon
    Nature Impish
    Item Peyata Berry/leftovers
    -Thunderbolt
    -HP [Ice/Grs]
    -Subsitute
    -Batonpass/Thunderwave

Before I get started here, I'd like to say to QueenBoo, that you need to study up on Natures, Movesets, and a majority of the D/P Metagame before you try to rate anything, otherwise, you won't know what you're talking about. No meaning to sound offensive. =(

    -Thunder Wave

If you can, even though it doesn't look like you can, try and squeeze Substitute in there.

    Togekiss @ Leftovers
    Serene Grace
    Modest (-attack, +spec attack)
    EVs: 168 HP / 160 Def / 56 Spd / 16 SAtk / 108 SDef
    -Air Slash
    -Aura Sphere
-Thunder Wave / Reflect / Light Screen
    -Roost / Wish

The star of the team... First 3 moves are pretty self explanitory, Hax and type coverage, then wave if I need it, then I'm not sure on the last set. Since you already have 2 TWavers on your team, you should consider one of the Wall attacks.

    Tangrowth @ Leftovers
    Impish (-spec attack, + def)
    Trait: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 240 HP / 92 Atk / 176 Def
    -Power Whip
    -Earthquake
    -Stun Spore
    -Sleep Powder

Then you stole some pretty undefensive EVs o.O
Go for a Double Powder. Sleep Powder first, then Stun Spore the switch-in.

    Heracross @ Choice Scarf
    Adamant (-spec attack, + attack)
    Guts
    EVs: 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 Hp
    -In Fight
    -Megahorn

You should be using Gallade with X-Scissor if you're looking to wipe out Celebi and friends.

    Donphan @ Leftovers
    Sturdy
    Impish (-spec attack, +def)
    EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def
    -Earthquake
    -Ice Shard / Roar
    -Stealth Rock
    -Rapid Spin

Eh... I don't quite like him. He doesn't really fit in, but he can rock/spin, and when Togekiss takes 25% from SR, I need it gone. Ice Shard doesn't guarantee an OHKO, especially if it's not picking up STAB. At most, with Max Attack, it'll do about 70% Damage to Salamence, and that's without Intimidate kicking in on you. In my opinion, run Roar, since you do need a P-Hazer on the team somewhere.

    Gyarados @ Leftovers
    Intimidate
    Adamant (-spec attack, +Attack)
    EVs: 152 HP / 252 Attack / 84 Def / 20 Speed
    -Dragon Dance
    -Aqua Tail

    EEEVIL

COME TO THE 4TH GEN SHANE + SYNCH!
Yeah good luck trying to get Synch to do 4th Gen, because when I talked to him about it almost a million times, he wanted D/P to die in a factory explosion =(

Now then... You shouldn't base your ENTIRE team around ParaFlinchHax, because not only is it counterable, it's not going to work a portion of the time.

Also, you'd probably want a Special Tank of some sorts on this team. Because Zapdos will be spying o.O

Jolt sounds good. I still don't know if I want it on my team, but if I use him, I'll use yours.
Maybe I'll put sub over wish or shadow ball, not sure which though.

I'll go with Roost on Togekiss. The ability to drop some flying weaks if i predict right and heal is nice. I like the EVs, a bit bulky which is sweet, but a little low on spec attack, but i guess it has to be that way.

Double powder Tangrowth sounds nice. I can sleep Electrivire if he switches in on a T-wave, so he'll have to switch and lose his speed or stay to get the kilt. EVs are nice, thanks for the help.

Scarf on Hera is an option, but with all the Para going around (hopefully) i won't need it. I'll look into it though. Erlade is an option, but I think I like Hera. I'll really look into him though, gotta' check him out when I'm not rushing to bed =P

Donphan will do roar. Thanks a ton.

I kinda like waterfall on Gyara, it has the flinch chance, so I can continue the flinch hax, and its more accurate. Flinch + Accuracy is a little more worth it, IMO.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I can best work around relying on flinchhax. I'd like to just be able to go with para, putting my opponents in a bind and giving me a speed advantage, along with the chance they fully paralyze.
I'd like to get Slowbro on the team, but I'm not sure how. He can Para as well, but also offers some nice defenses and good attacks with ice beam and psychic/surf. Slack off can also help him stick around, and with Para, he could outspeed stuff (lol).

Any ideas to get away from relying on para flinch and turn into more of a para team with flinchhax as an added bonus?
I'd really like to keep Togekiss though, hes my 4th gen fave.

Thanks for the help with jolt, Queen, but I think i'll go with Iceman's.
I'd kinda like to get jolt off the team, I don't really like him, but I don't know what else could lead (doesn't have to be on my team now)

screw light screen/reflect on togetic... if you have it couped with roost and those many defensive EVs, you may as well give it scheme.
