    Flu season is here now. You should get your flu shot this season because it's going to be worse. Theres a lack of supply of Flu Vaccine because everyone took them already. Your only option is a flu spray, which can make some bad syntoms... I heard a boy died because the flu. So, protect yourself today and get a flu shot so you can stay healthy.

    Okay.*get a flu shot*
    Nice, flu can't harm me. XD
    *run around the room*
    Wait...I ain't hyper. XD
    *tired*
    *fainted*

    I have read about this flu vaccine shortage in the newspapers but I was not too concerned until you brought it up here. I think I will check out the newspapers again.
    I'm not sure If I ever had a flu vaccine....the only one I remember that I had is for chickenpox and Hep. B.

    errr... the flu shot is offered but... not that much people are taking it here (not only costly but also have to drive all the way to downtown just to take the shot...)

    I already got the flu when the flu season started... so I kind of experienced part of it already (because that night was a very radical change in temperature from plus 5 celcius to -20 celcius in one night... a lot of people are sick on that night including me). Now the temperature is rather constant, people are more "on guard" about dressing warm and etc...

    I havent had the flu in many years

    I've been sick only a couple times in the last 3 years.

    I have been having a flu shot every year for the past few years. I have it at the end of summer. Now I don't get the flu or cold anymore. I get nasal, viral, ear, etc infections. ^_^;;

    And yes, first I had a nasal infection (I forgot how to spell the proper term), then a stomach, and now an ear infection. ^_^;;

    Even though I live in New York City I don't really care for flu shots. Besides if I'm sick I don't have to go to school and I can spend more time on PC. :laugh:

    Well I never got the full hit of the flu yet *Knock On Wood* but i did have a nasty head cold tho

    (You could) just try to imagine anyone thinking the way you do when the SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) epidemic occured; it would not be funny anymore.
    Shouldn't anyone be serious with this kind of topic? At least those living in the so-called affected areas?

    Just to highlight one point here:

    That one is not in the vaccine; not much use anyway ^^ that one is also murderous.
    ~.~ that one is also the killer

    I got a flu shot just before December 1st. I won't get infected now. ^_^'

    It's really quite sad, some of my friends got caught by a flu over this weekend and most majority of them didn't go to school.

    You'd be surprised how many people die from the 'flu every year...but you only really have to worry about it if you're very old, very young or have a depressed immune system. Nothing to worry about in particular if you're a teenager and in moderate health. =]

    it's not stuff like AIDs, SARS or other "dangerous vital disease" that causes so many people to die off... it is these "weak unimportant diseases" like the flu or a normal fever that is the killer... people don't take care of themselves against these diseases. There are many people like me who don't take the shots, but still you should be fully prepared for it.

    I had my flu shot December 10,yesterday,but it takes 2 weeks to activate.

    I just got over the flu. ;_;' It was awful because I couldn't even sit up for more than 5 minutes without getting all dizzy and icky. (Then again, I got to miss all week of school. o_O)

    Now I've just got a bad cold. :\

    I have a cold for about 3-4 days every year and the flu.... Maybe every 2-4 years. Maybe I have a high immune system or maybe it's just that I'm home schooled and don't get out. Though, I never got sick in school either. :P

    BTW, the flu shots do not always work. I've heard of people who have the flu and have had the shot.

    So if you haven't guessed it, I haven't had the shot, nor will I get it.

    Well. I get sick every once and a while. I'm sneezing. It might be because all this dust in this room!
