4th Gen Gardevoir

You would think with all the fans Gardevoir has she would still be in the UU category, but for some strange reason, she fell to the NU category? I'm a big Gardevoir fan, especially since I use her on my team. Anyone else here like Gardevoir?

Tiers are generally based on usage. If not enough people use it, it will drop because of this. 'nuff said.

She fell to NU because people generally doesen't use their favorite pokemon for a competitive battling team. People mainly use strong/defensive pokemon that are able to beat most teams they battle against.

Gardevoir also has lol physical defense, which also might have helped bring it into NU.
Basically, the only thing Gardevoir is good for anymore, is being a special wall ^_^, now that Espeon has arrived in NU and is like

yo i'm a better special sweeper than you

(yeah, I had to do one of those XD)

That's my opinion at least. Gardevoir is more specially bulky, but Espeon has way more speed. It all comes down to what you prefer. Speed or bulk.

I'd never use my favorites for a competitive battling team, but that's just my opinion.

Moltres hit the nail on the head.Also, it's Shoddybattle usage statistics, so no matter how many wi-fi battlers use it, it's done on shoddy

It's a matter of preference. DON'T use Pokemon just because they are at the top of the tier list. Use Pokemon you think are good. If you use Pokemon someone else likes simply because it's on the "Overused" Tier, you'll have less of an experience than other People. Use ones you like and you might not always win, but you'll have a heck of a lot of a better time than the other guy.
