Would you want new megas from Alola, galar, and paldea in legends 2? I'm so indecisive and split about this as this is set in Kalos from a different time period.

That would be power creep on power creep, so players can power creep while they power creep.

On a serious note, I don't really care since I haven't bought a pokemon game for like, half a decade now? That being said, it would be interesting to watch how much more power creep they can reach considering what I've heard of Gen 8. Might end up being amusing to listen to the PvPers rushing to ban half the new cast.

I don't expect pokemon from gens 7-9 to be included in the game. If they are added, I wouldn't mind them getting megas.

I don't want megas to return honestly, and I hope they at least get nerfed (which they should, since assuming this game won't have held items, that nullifies the only drawback of mega evolution)

But I imagine they would add some for post-Gen 6 Pokémon, just as Legends Arceus added regional forms and alternate evolutions to other Pokémon, including some from later gens. The irony though, is that this regional gimmick that's supposed to be tied to the Kalos lore was only given to one Kalos Pokémon, so I imagine it would make sense to pay some attention to the Gen 6 Pokémon themselves to begin with.

Yes, definitely. Each gen has its underwhelming pokemon and I think the mega can give some of the new underwhelming pokemon a boost in power. Although that is tough to say because megas tend to make more balancing issues than anything

Nope, not at all!!! I'm hoping they'll focus on actual Kalos Pokémon for once. Those guys got sidelined hard in their own games, with only Diancie and (in everything but name) Greninja getting megas, so I think I'd prefer if only Kalos mons got new forms and stuff.

I really really really want Battle Bond Delphox. Please give me Battle Bond Delphox.

Honestly I'm fine with whatever they do as long as the game itself is good.
With that said, though... I expect them to have mostly Gen 6 and Gen 9 getting new Megas. Just the most predictable outcome.
