Those who have a keen eye most certainly noticed that Krookodile back animation does NOT match up with its front animation.
More precisely, this is the duration of Krookodile's different animated parts:
Front animation:
Back animation:
The back animation has a supernumerary part that shouldn't be there, the fix is really simple:
Step 1:
Open your Black (2)/White (2) ROM with CrystalTile2.
Step 2:
Click the NDS icon or Ctrl+N to open the file browser.
Step 3:
Go to narc a/0/0/4.
Step 4:
Locate the file 11067* and export it.
Step 5:
Import it in place of the file 11076*.
Step 6:
Save and close CrystalTile2.
*Those two files have the exact same data between all 4 versions, thus they are interchangeable.
That's it, now you can test in-game and see by yourself that Krookodile's back animation is now on par with the front animation.
More precisely, this is the duration of Krookodile's different animated parts:
Front animation:
- moves for 54 frames 4 times
- 0 to 53
- 54 to 107
- 108 to 161
- 162 to 215
- then moves for 108 frames once
- 216 to 323
- loops
