Do you get cranky when you dont get enough sleep?

    ...Thats it

nah, i wouldn't have enough energy to bother.

On a good day I get about 6 hours of sleep and usually I get much less, but I don't think I am particularly cranky. Or maybe if I slept more I'd be even more mellow.

I don't think it really differs from other cranky moments. What I mean is... I can get cranky if people bug me. If I'm listening to music or concentrating on a game, I don't like to be bothered. When someone does, I can snap at them. I get distracted easily if I focus too much on what goes around me. It's lead to me making mistakes in those games or what I'm writing.

On not sleeping, not only do I get cranky, but my anxiety will drive me up the wall the whole entire day. It won't stop until I get even a bit of sleep, which can be hard for me during the daytime. :c I have a strict routine. Plus, if I sleep during the day, it'll fuck up my sleep schedule later. So, I usually just push through it. *shrug*

I just get tired. If I'm at work, then I just make myself an extra creamsicle energy drink, and I'm good to go. I'm good at controlling my anger, so I can still be nice to guests running on less than four hours of sleep, even though I'm dying on the inside.

Not particularly. I'm more liable to get cranky if I get too much sleep, in fact, because I've wasted my time sleeping when I should have been wasting it doing something else. If I don't get enough sleep, I don't really have the energy to get cranky.

Lack of sleep really doesn't bother me unless I really need it. I don't mind working on three hours of sleep the next day unless there's something that needs to be done that requires me to be fully aware and awake. If I'm going to have a lazy Monday then I don't mind not being able to sleep. If there's work to be done though, then I can get a little bit irritable over it.

No; getting little sleep feels like it's doing me good. It's when I sleep for the 10–12 hours that I normally do that I feel terrible. I don't get 'cranky' toward other people, though; never understood the whole 'being annoyed after awakening' thing.

It's about half and half for me. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It just all depends, but most of the time I do, usually it's because someone thinks it's okay to make loud noises to wake me up, some of my aunts, uncles, parents, and grandparents are guilty of this where I'll be sleeping, they'll kick or push my door in very loudly, and start screaming to wake me up just so that I can say hi or someone keeps calling me to wake me up even though I don't need to. If I just wake up all of a sudden and I didn't get enough sleep, then high chances are that I won't be cranky.

I get tired a lot due to constant stress put on me by my family in that they are demanding me to do most of the household work and I feel like I'm not ready for it. I tend to be a heavy sleeper if I have been feeling below average. And yes when I go off, I really do go off because I hate being disturbed.

I never get enough sleep so I'm almost usually cranky in the damn morning.

Cranky? No. Groggy? Maybe for a little bit. Even when I'm tired I usually manage to feel alright throughout most of the day and I don't need coffee or any of that stuff.

I definitely get cranky if I haven't gotten enough sleep.

However, if I'm tired enough that I'm noticeably cranky, then I'm most likely also tired enough that I can't be bothered actually doing much about it. So most you'll tend to get from me then is some grumbling in response to things, maybe a glare, and that's it.

And then hopefully I hit an energy spike and I feel better and then it doesn't matter anyway!

Not really. I'm used to waking up early in the morning so I get on with the morning routine. The one time it does happen is the night before the start of term after summer holidays.

I don't really get cranky when I haven't gotten enough sleep, I just get tired and have a small attention span and generally become more inclined to dozing off.

I really only get cranky when I have to do things when I don't feel like doing things because I'm too tired.
