2nd Gen getting kingdra

    hi all. im trying to get kingdra on gold and silver but i cant find him anywhere. someone told me i have to trade him with an item. if so where do i get the item from?
     
    You can obtain the dragon scale a couple of ways. You can use thief on Dratini, Dragonair or Seadra and you'll get it, although it's rare. Or you could just go pick one up at Mt. Mortar on the ground. Not too sure of the location, so just search all over. When you trade Seadra holding the Dragon Scale, make sure you're trading from G/S/C to G/S/C. New items cannot be put in the time capsule anyway. And Kindgra isn't in R/B/Y. You probably already knew that, but just making sure.
