4th Gen Glitch???

Ok, well, on my Pokemon Diamond game, I used a max repel BUT When I go in the grass, caves etc. I still encounter pokemon and the max repel is still in play. Plz help me, cause encountering level 66s is very annoying. Also tell me if its happened to u or its just a glitch.

Err. I think it only works on pokemon level 40 and below, other than the legendaries. Hehe, sorry.

Shift, that's not true.

The thing is, you probably have a weak Pokémon at the start of your party. What Repels do, in reality, is keep away Pokémon that are at a lower level than the first Pokémon in your Party. Hence, if you have, say, a level 100, only Pokémon that are above or equal to lvl100 will appear in the wild. Since that can't happen, you never see Pokémon appear. However, if you have like a lvl 20 Pokémon at the start of your team, then it's a completely different story.

Where do you even find level 66 Pokémon? I've never found one that high.

I use repel to find strong pokemon :D It helps a lot

yea me too, anyways just like what wakachamo said. And turn back cave is a great spot to train basically Dark type Pokemon or Pokemon with dark type moves

I thought that Repels only got rid of the lower level Pokemon in the area. It isn't like a Holy Water in Dragon Warrior that gets rid of all monsters.

I dont think its a glitch cause legendary pokemons can still appear and i think some high lvls to.

wakachamo is correct. if the pokemon in ur first slot is a very high level, it will eliminate all weaker pokemon with repel. ex lv 80 elminate < or = lv 80. hope that clears things up,
