2nd Gen Gold/Silver Trade problem

    Hey, I was trying to trade from Gold to Silver. I'm playing Gold, and I've currently between the elite 4 14 times. When I try to trade or battle using the Cable Club in any Poke Centre, I get a message saying that the machines are temporarily being adjusted, and to try again later. It's been saying that for about 6months now lol. What do I do?
     
    You sure your not trying to use the time capsule instead of the link center?
     
    Yes. the Time Capsule doesn't work either, I tried swapping between Red and Gold. It doesn't matter if I go to Collesseum, Trade, or Time Capsule, they all say "I'm sorry, the [insert above] is being adjusted. Please try again later."
     
    This Happened to me on my gold. i did not fix it i just got annoyed and started my game again. i think my trading thing went because i used like 100 gameshark codes :\
