When i put a pokemon on gts for trade do i have to stay in the gts searching room or can i play the game but keep wifi on?

You can keep playing the game

Even when it's turned off you will still trade, xD

so if wifi is turned off it will still trade how will i recive the pokemon?

Because your Pokémon is actually in the GTS, and you no longer have it, when your games turned off the GTS is still on, and when you connect to the GTS next, it could have traded, if you get me.

cool so i dont have to have wifi or my game on for it to trade ^_^

Yeah, but you have to have access to Wi-Fi to receive your traded Pokémon.
