You remember those old 4 .hack// games for the ps2? The graphics, were kinda lame... The gameplay.. repetative... The music.. not half bad.. The characters... funny, and some were pretty awsome. But the clincher of the whole series was... the story...
So now... the time line... now it is 2017... the MMORPG known as "The World" has had its in-game population go from 20 million players... to 12 million... Uncontrolled "Player-Killing" has made the game a somewhat horrid place...
And rumor has it that there is a PKer, surrounded in Azure Flames, that once he has pked someone, that person isn't able to return to "The World". People have named this legendary "pker" , Tri-Edge. Probably because of the three edges on the strange twin blades he carries...
So now Hasou, the "Player-Killer Killer", also known as the "Terror of Death", is on the hunt. He will meet very interesting people with new character classes... but why do he and servral other players have the nicknames of the 8 phazes of Morganna?
However, little do they know... that "Tri-Edge" has a strange resemblence to "The World"s once most legendary player... The one who saved the world as we know it 7 years ago... The one who was gifted with the ability known as Data Drain....
So, did i get your attention? Im very interested in these games. There is suposed to be 3. and the first(Vol. 1: Rebirth) is supposed to be longer then the previous 4 games combined. What do you think? Are you going to get it? It is planned come out in the US sometime in 2006 for the PS2.
