    Hello, PokeCommunity! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this (I'm new, sorry for any mistakes I make due to inexperience), but I have a great many ideas for a Pokemon game, but I need to learn a great deal. I've tried looking around the Documents/Tutorials forum and the Rom Hacking forum and such, and I've looked around a great deal, but there doesn't seem to be a guide for beginners, only topic-specific guides that seem to require some prior knowledge of the subject. I'm very familiar with Pokemon, and emulation, but I'm completely inexperienced when it comes to the tech aspects of rom hacking. I'd like a guide that teaches from the ground up, or someone who could kindly offer some assistance/advice on the subject of rom hacking. Any help or responses would be appreciated, or directions to the proper forum to post this thread. Much appreciated.
     
    You can't actually ask this. You'll need to learn certain aspects from the documents section, if you encounter any problems ask them in the simple questions thread. Sorry, but you'll have to learn alone, for now. Maybe make some friends, and ask around?
