    Hey guys,

I recently got back into the Pokemon games after an 8 year hiatus (I'm 20 at the moment).

The story begins with me moving to University, due to leaving my good old PS3 at home due to a long and boring story, I had nothing fun to do to distract me from work. A friend of mine was talking to me about how he had the pokemon games on his laptop via emulator, originally I questioned how old he was (during my teenage years I avoided Pokemon because generation 1 was from my childhood and, at that age, you don't want to be associated with "childish" things.

Eventually he convinced me to bite into a bit of Nostalgia and download an emulator and rom of the Generation 1 and Generation 2 games (I know, it would be better to have the original version on the gameboy, but I havn't had a gameboy since I was 15).

After playing through Red, I remembered how awesome the games were, so quickly got started on Gold. But when I reached Red I was disappointed to see that his team was completely different from what he had when I played as him in the original games.

So just out of curiosity, is there any possible way to hack Gold so I can change Red's team into the team I left him with in Red? (also, possibly changing Red's name so he can have the same name as the Generation 1 version of him)

    Many thanks!

quite sure there is, but it would be better to check over at the emulation corner, im heading over there soon myself. ask any of the 2nd Gen specialists, and they should be able to help you.
